Evan Montgomery
GUITAR
Evan Montgomery has been an educator, performer, and composer for over 15 years. He received his Masters in Jazz Guitar Performance from California Institute of the Arts in 2015, and his Bachelors in Classical Guitar Performance from Lawrence University in 2009.
In lessons Evan focuses on several basic concepts; time/rhythm, fretboard harmony/theory, and musicality/creativity. Evan believes that music is a joy to be shared by all, and is dedicated to creating a lesson plan that caters to the students needs and wishes. Though excelling in jazz, classical, and improvised music, Evan has performed and worked with musicians and artists of every genre. He strives to share this appreciation for all types of music with his students.
